1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TrueMe ("Service", "we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years of age to use TrueMe. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users who misrepresent their age.
2. Description of Service
TrueMe is a Creator Digital Passport platform that helps online creators verify and protect their identity. The Service includes: (a) a verified identity passport page published at a unique URL (e.g., orssolutions.co/username); (b) continuous AI-powered monitoring across major platforms for fake accounts and impersonators; (c) fan-facing identity verification tools including rotating verification codes and QR codes; (d) DMCA letter generation and platform abuse reporting tools (Full Protection plan only). TrueMe is a monitoring and reporting tool only. We do not guarantee the removal of any infringing or impersonating accounts. We do not provide legal advice or legal services. Results may vary based on platform policies and the nature of impersonation.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TrueMe. By registering, you confirm that: (a) you are at least 18 years of age; (b) you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; (c) you are not located in a country subject to US government embargo; (d) all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.
4. Account Registration
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration and keep your account information updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with inaccurate information.
5. Subscription and Billing
TrueMe offers two subscription plans: (a) Passport Plan at $20/month — includes a verified identity passport, AI monitoring across 11 platforms, threat detection alerts, and fan report intake; (b) Full Protection Plan at $50/month — includes everything in Passport plus DMCA letter generation, follower report intake, PDF evidence export, platform abuse report writer, and priority support. There is no free tier. No free trials are offered. Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.
6. Communications Consent
By registering for TrueMe, you expressly consent to receive the following communications: Email Communications: You consent to receive transactional emails including account verification, security alerts, threat notifications, subscription confirmations, and service updates at the email address you provide. These emails are necessary for the operation of the Service. You may manage optional marketing communications in your account settings. SMS / Text Message Communications: If you provide a mobile phone number and consent to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages including verification codes, security alerts, and threat notifications. Message frequency varies based on account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message or updating your preferences in account settings. For help, reply HELP. Withdrawal of Consent: You may withdraw consent to optional communications at any time via your account settings. Withdrawal of consent to essential transactional emails (such as security alerts) may result in reduced Service functionality as these are necessary to deliver core security notifications.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of digital services and AI scanning costs incurred upon subscription activation, all sales are generally final. However, if you experience a technical failure that prevents you from accessing core features within the first 7 days, you may request a refund by contacting support. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to deny refund requests if the Service was used or accessed.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) submit false or misleading information; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service; (e) use the Service to harass, stalk, or harm others; (f) use automated tools to access the Service beyond normal use; (g) resell or commercialize the Service without written permission; (h) use the Service to monitor individuals without their consent.
9. Scanning and Data Collection Consent
By subscribing to TrueMe, you expressly consent to the following scanning and data collection activities: (a) Automated Web Scanning: TrueMe uses automated search queries (via third-party search APIs including SerpAPI) to search the public web for content that may constitute impersonation or unauthorized use of your name, username, likeness, or identity. Searches are conducted at intervals determined by your subscription plan. (b) Search Queries: Your display name, username, and associated handles may be included in search queries submitted to third-party search providers. These providers process queries in accordance with their own privacy policies. (c) Threat Storage: URLs, titles, and excerpts from search results that may indicate impersonation are stored in our database and associated with your account. This data is used to generate monitoring reports and alerts. (d) Image Search: Profile photo searches may be conducted to detect unauthorized use of images associated with your identity on social platforms. (e) Fan Reports: Third parties (fans, followers, or members of the public) may submit reports about alleged impersonating accounts through your public identity page. These reports are stored and associated with your creator account. You may withdraw scanning consent at any time by cancelling your subscription. Historical scan data may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Identity Verification
Subscribers may optionally complete identity verification through our third-party provider (Stripe Identity). This process involves submitting a government-issued ID and a live selfie. Identity verification data is processed and stored by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy. TrueMe does not store your identity documents. Providing false identity documents is a violation of these Terms and may be reported to law enforcement.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUEME SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. TRUEME IS A MONITORING SERVICE AND DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE PREVENTION OR REMOVAL OF IMPERSONATING ACCOUNTS.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS. AI-GENERATED REPORTS ARE FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND MAY CONTAIN ERRORS. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OF IMPERSONATION DETECTION RESULTS.
13. Intellectual Property
TrueMe and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TrueMe and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of content you submit to TrueMe. By submitting content, you grant TrueMe a license to use it for providing the Service. You may not copy, modify, or distribute TrueMe's intellectual property without written permission.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using TrueMe, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data as required by law and as described in our Privacy Policy. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the new Terms, you must stop using the Service.
