Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

TrueMe is designed to protect legitimate creators from impersonation. This policy describes what constitutes acceptable and unacceptable use.

2. Permitted Use

Using TrueMe to monitor your own online identity. Reporting accounts that impersonate you. Sharing your verified identity page with your audience. Using the badge to authenticate your real accounts.

3. Prohibited Use

You may NOT use TrueMe to: Monitor or surveil individuals without their consent. File false impersonation reports against legitimate accounts. Harass or stalk other users or third parties. Attempt to verify an identity that is not your own. Use the Service for competitive intelligence. Automate requests beyond normal usage patterns. Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the Service.

4. Consequences of Violation

Violations may result in: Immediate account suspension or termination, forfeiture of subscription fees, reporting to relevant authorities, and legal action where appropriate.
